1. Why won't MeeMix play the songs I choose?

The song you requested will eventually be played together with other similar songs we collected for you, based on your input (the songs and artists you choose). The reason your requests are not played right away is due to legal reasons. According to the music license agreement we operate by, we can compose a playlist that includes the song you chose but are not permitted to play it immediately upon request.

2. Why does MeeMix play artists and songs I didn't explicitly request?

Our aim is to provide you with the music that you are familiar with, as well as new music similar to the artists/songs you have selected. Our musicologists, together with Dr. RoX, are constantly developing the MeeMix music universe, adding more music and optimizing the playlist engine. Every time you open a station all these forces come into play, gathering a variety of songs and adjusting it according to your initial choice of songs or artists and your song rating input.

3. How about a BACK or REWIND button for my internet radio?

They are something you would expect, and we are sorry about not being able to offer them to you right now. MeeMix is a legal music provider and we operate under the music license agreement, which states that we cannot allow the replay of songs.

4. I just heard a great song. Can I buy it?

Yes, you can. You can buy songs or albums while listening to a song. Click "CD icon" to buy the album or "notes icon" to buy and download the song. These icons are located above the album screen. If you are interested in a song or an album you've previously heard, you can either:
a. Use the arrow keys in the MeePlayer to browse all the songs that
    were played during that session to find what you are looking for.
    When you find it, follow the instructions above.
b. If you have marked a song as a "favorite" or rated it HOT, you can also
    find it in your Favorites page under MeeStyle.

5. Are artists paid when MeeMix plays their music?

Yes. We pay licensing fees to SoundExchange for all the music we play on MeeMix. From these fees the artists, songwriters and record labels all receive their share of the payment.

All performing artists should contact SoundExchange and Amazon.com to register.

6. Can I send you my - or my band's - music to be added in MeeMix?

We have received a lot of requests from artists and we do intend to start adding your music to MeeMix soon; thanks for your patience! In the meantime, please send us a link to your website or blog so that we can start learning about you and your style and we will contact you when we are ready to go to the next step.
